About Us

Certus Sourcing LLC was founded by Latassha & Patrick Daugherty along with long time colleague Tenisha De Alba Ascensio. They are service-disabled veterans from the Air Force and Army. Together, the trio have over 60+ years of Active Duty experience. Their assignments ranged from stateside units, overseas deployments, to headquarters in D.C.

The idea of starting Certus Sourcing came about when they realized that there was a significant need for contracts and contractors who knew the operational requirements of the units they were serving. They understood that the mission of our DoD partners could be better executed with a more precise placement of professionals with frequent engagement by the contractor’s leadership. This focus on “precise” is how the Latin name “Certus” was selected.
